Balanced Forces
Balanced forces are when two equal forces clash in opposing directions on an object, keeping the object at a constant velocity or stationary. A balanced force can only be achieved when the two opposing forces have the same magnitude. The clashing forces must cancel out in order to keep the force balanced. Anytime a balanced force is applied, an object will keep moving in a direction at a constant velocity, or stay stationary. In the case of the Ping-Pong ball being pulled apart by two equal forces, the forces of each hand have the same magnitude. By being equal the forces cancel out and causes the forces bocming balanced.
